Atlanta Braves | ‘For the A’

Lighting Designer/Light Board Operator, MoCo Programmer.

With all of the restrictions this year, only 2 crew members where allowed player access. This lead us to running a ‘Fly by wire’ system, we ran all of our data upstairs to a remote station and communicated to the downstairs crew via com and separate monitor feed.

Tech stuff.

Nerd Notes

So here’s the tech layout. All of the lights where ran via hard wire DMX. The Astera’s on the back truss got hardwired into the power box, the ones on the ‘A’ used an Art7 Box via CMRX that was ran as close as possible to them (If you’ve used Astera’s you know how temperamental they are). The Astera’s had full pixel mapping capability’s but unfortunately I never got to use them in that way. My FOH ended up being upstairs where we had a monitor feed and communicated to the downstairs guys over Coms. Our LED wall was kept separate being run by the downstairs guys as the background where fairly simple.
